CBS Sports video preview of the Eagles-Seahawks game in Week 13
I am sure this is not what NFL Network was thinking when they saw two former 2010 division winning playoff teams on the schedule for a late-season Thursday Night match-up. But this is what they are left with…. In a game that features two very inconsitent teams, the Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) will try to pull their season back from life support when they take-on the equally disappointing Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. It will be interesting to see if the undermanned Birds and their beleaguered head coach — Andy Reid fighting for possibly his job — can find a way to get a much-need “W”.
Did I also mention that more than likely the Birds could be without starters Michael Vick (broken ribs), Jeremy Maclin (seperated shoulder and hamstring), and possibly RB LeSean McCoy (foot). We will see if back-up Vince Young and sackmen Trent Cole and Jason Babin can find a way to get the Philly faithful back on the Eagles side after chants of “Fire Andy” filled the air only a couple days ago when the Patriots embarassed them in a 38-20 home loss
